Sebastian Gaudigs: Kamtschatka

About 8,000 km as the crow flies and 11 time zones east of Dresden is the beautiful, lonely and almost untouched Kamchatka. In the late summer of 2018, Dresden’s Sebastian G. will set out to hike, camp and escape civilisation at the eastern end of Russia for 14 days. With a small international hiking group and always on guard against the bears, he explores the volcanoes in Kamchatka’s south, catches salmon, crosses raging rivers, bathes in hot springs and of course takes a lot of pictures. For this lecture he shows his best shots, reports about his exhausting journey and shares his impressions.
