What means Germany to me/What means nEUROPA to me: double exhibition Galerie Treibhaus

On September 19th 2014 we open the double exhibition “What means Germany to me…What means nEuropa to me” at our offshoot location in the Treibhaus.

In the first part of the exhibition we asked international artists to display their perception and image of Germany in a single photograph; using a series of pictures was not allowed. Works from artists from Japan and Venezuela, Azerbaijan and the Netherlands, and from the focus regions of our organisation’s cultural work, Belarus, Ukraine, and the Caucasus, were submitted.

In the second part we asked German artists, globetrotters, and members of our organisation to provide us with pictures of their travels all around the world – to nEuropa. The submitted images of nEuropa range from Israel to Canada, from England to Afghanistan, from the Faroe Islands to Syria, from Portugal to Mongolia, and from Albania to Thailand.

Accompanying the exhibition and the international conference “club nEuropa”, which our organisation hosts, a new issue of our almanac for the nonconformist – partisanen 4 – has been released.

The print version will be presented publicly for the first time at the vernissage on September 19th.
